Job insecurity is no longer confined to low-skilled workers, but is emerging in highly skilled professions including law and computer programming, a leading US employment expert has warned.
David Weil from the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University in Boston and a visiting professor at the University of Sydney Business School is in Australia talking to academics and policy makers.
He is warning them that the employment rights of highly skilled professionals are under threat with job insecurity now "working its way up the skill ladder".
