Building Confidence with Finances

When you move to a new country, there’s a lot to learn. Understanding how to manage your money in Australia is an important part of settling in.

This free interactive workshop will help you build practical skills and feel more confident managing your finances in everyday life.

This session is delivered in collaboration with The Couch, Migrant Workers Centre, and Financial Independence Hub – Good Shepherd.

Interactive finance workshop session
7:30 – 8:30 pm
Free dinner and networking/mentoring with Rotary Central Melbourne

  • How banking works in Australia and what you need to know
  • How superannuation works and why it matters
  • How to identify your strengths and use them in everyday life
  • How to recognise and avoid common scams
  • Where to get support and reliable financial information
