- The webinar will highlight the unique challenges and potential issues that international students may encounter while working in Australia, such as exploitation, underpayment, discrimination, or unfair dismissal.
- Rights that protect workers
- Participants will learn about the various legal rights and protections afforded to workers in Australia, including minimum wage, weekend penalty rates, leave entitlements, workplace health and safety, and anti-discrimination laws.
- Free and confidential support services
- The session will provide information about the support services available to international students facing workplace issues, such as trade unions, community legal centers, and government agencies like the Gig Workers Support Service and Study Melbourne.

- Attendees will receive access to additional resources, tools, and information to help them stay informed and take action if needed, such as pay calculators, factsheets, and online resources.
