MWC Solidarity Hour series

The MWC "Solidarity Hour" series aims to build capacity in migrant communities and community service organisations to address issues related to labour exploitation among migrant workers.

They are short online sessions facilitated by expert trainers. The sessions include group discussion, Q&A, and hand-out resources.

Modern Slavery Awareness Training

Join us to strengthen our understanding on "Labour Exploitation and Modern Slavery Awareness."

In this session, our guest presenters from Australian Red Cross will cover the topics which will focus on the following:

  • What is modern slavery?
  • Identifying the signs of modern slavery
  • Safe responding 
  • Support services

This training is suitable for frontline workers, bicultural workers, community members and volunteers who are looking to build their knowledge in responding to modern slavery in their workplace and community.
