"Solidarity Hour - Telling your story" is an intensive workshop for migrant workers leading grassroots campaigns on fair visa processing times, pathways to permanent residence, rights at work, and other issues facing our communities.
The workshop will cover essential media communication skills to maximise the success of your campaign, including:
- Messaging & framing your issue
- Using personal stories to win support for your campaign
- How to write and distribute media releases and alerts
- Getting your story published
