Join our Volunteer Training Session and gain the skills needed to provide one-on-one consultations on job applications, interviews, and workplace rights.

⏰ Time: 10AM – 5PM (1 hour lunch break)
📍 Location: Migrant Workers Centre, 54 Victoria St, Carlton

Please note this training session is IN-PERSON ONLY.

• Be a current or former international student or
• Be a current domestic student
• Attend the training session in full
• Attend a shadowing session at The Study Melbourne Hub before your first shift

Topics covered: 

• Resume and cover letter preparation
• Interview techniques and job search strategies
• Pre-employment essentials (TFN, ABN, Superannuation)
• Effective communication strategies
• Understanding referral pathways (MWC & Study Melbourne caseworkers)
