This program is for permanent and temporary migrants who are active in their community. If you help organise events or bring people to them, or help members of your community to access information and services, you are who we are looking for!

Yes, Bicultural Work Rights Ambassadors are casual workers. As a guide, remuneration is $46.70 per hour (inclusive of casual loading) plus 12% superannuation.

Successful applicants will attend a paid 5-day training program. Training will take place during business hours and all successful applicants are required to attend.

After training, engagement will be irregular and not expected to exceed 7 hours in any given month. Ambassadors will plan, organise, and deliver community information sessions, each of which will take approximately one full day of work spread over multiple days.

We will work with each Ambassador to put together an ongoing engagement plan that suits their personal availability.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend individual interviews through video conferencing.

Applicants may be asked to provide contact details of personal references in the community.

Training will be held through a combination of online and in-person sessions in Melbourne CBD.
