Join us for our next Research Webinar, featuring two emerging voices in migration and labour research.

This is the first in a webinar series that showcases the work of PhD candidates and early career researchers.

Ema Moolchand shares insights from the Meat the Reality project at RMIT, exploring the experiences of Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) workers in the meat industry. Through creative qualitative methods, including worker-generated photography, Ema brings these important stories to life.

Emily Foley examines how temporary labour migration policies have shifted under the Albanese government, and the challenges social democratic parties face in creating fair migration systems.

About the Speakers:

She holds an LL.M. and Juris Doctor from La Trobe University and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2020.
